Tessa Cloud Service Terms
Die deutsche Fassung ist massgebend / The German version is binding. Binding German version
These service terms supplement the General Terms (“Terms”) for the Tessa Cloud service. In case of conflict they prevail over the Terms.
1. What Tessa Cloud is
1.1 Tessa Cloud is the edition of Tessa, our testing companion, that we host and operate: a central Tessa server with a browser workspace for your organisation. In it your team describes test scenarios in natural language, runs them on Android, iOS, web, and enabled desktop targets, reviews reports with screenshots and logs, and maintains the App Map of your application.
1.2 The executors that connect your devices, emulators, simulators, browsers, and desktop targets run on your own machines. We provide them as software; you provide the devices and their operation.
1.3 The Tessa CLI is part of the service and connects your CI/CD pipeline to the same server.
1.4 The feature set follows the current state of the product. We keep developing Tessa Cloud (Terms, section 13.3).
2. Plans and prices
2.1 Tessa Cloud comes in three plans. Solo and Team are billed monthly per organisation; prices are per month in CHF and include VAT. Enterprise is agreed individually in an order form.
| Feature | Solo | Team | Enterprise |
|---|---|---|---|
| People who can sign in | 1 | up to 6 | per order form |
| Projects | 1 | unlimited | unlimited |
| Parallel runs | 1 | unlimited | unlimited |
| Hosting | EU, operated by us | EU, operated by us | EU or Switzerland, operated by us |
| Sign-in | Google or GitHub | Google or GitHub | Enterprise single sign-on |
| Cloud device fleet | not included | not included | on request |
| Billing | monthly, cancel any time | monthly, cancel any time | per order form |
| Price | CHF 25 per month | CHF 480 per month | on request |
2.2 A seat is one person who can sign in to your organisation, regardless of their role. A project is one application you test with Tessa, with its own scenarios, test plans, runs, targets, and App Map across all platforms. A parallel run is a test run that executes at the same time as other runs of your organisation; on Solo, tests run one after another.
2.3 There are no credits, no limits on the number of test runs, and no per-device fees. “Unlimited” means no contractual cap; how many runs actually execute at the same time depends on your executors and devices. You pay the costs of your AI provider directly (Terms, section 12).
2.4 You switch between Solo and Team in the billing portal. The portal shows when the switch takes effect and how the fee is adjusted. A plan can only be chosen if the organisation stays within its limits. Enterprise is agreed with you in an order form, which prevails over these service terms (Terms, section 2).
2.5 Price changes, payment, and payment default follow sections 5 and 7 of the Terms.
3. Free trial
New organisations try Tessa Cloud free of charge for 14 days with the feature set of the Team plan, without a payment card. Afterwards you choose Solo or Team. The details are in section 4 of the Terms.
4. Included in every plan
- Unlimited own executors and devices: Android, iOS, web, and desktop
- Your own API key for a supported AI provider
- Hosted and operated by Ernst & Conte
- Shared scenarios, test plans, schedules, and run history (for one person on Solo)
- CLI for CI/CD
- Infrastructure and product updates by us
- Export of your data at any time, free of charge (Terms, section 11)
5. Hosting and data
5.1 Solo and Team run in data centres of Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany and Finland. For Enterprise, the order form determines whether your organisation is hosted in the EU or in Switzerland. Each organisation’s data is stored separately.
5.2 Details on data processing are in the Data Processing Agreement, the list of subprocessors, and the Privacy Notice for Tessa Cloud.
6. Sign-in
On Solo and Team everyone signs in with a Google or GitHub account. Enterprise single sign-on with your own identity provider is part of Enterprise and is set up under the order form.
7. Support
7.1 Support is available by e-mail at [email protected]. We respond on Swiss business days on a best-effort basis.
7.2 Solo and Team come without guaranteed availability and without guaranteed response or resolution times. For Enterprise, availability and support commitments can be agreed in the order form. We announce maintenance in the product where possible.
8. Not part of Tessa Cloud
Running Tessa in your own infrastructure is not part of Tessa Cloud. That is Tessa Sovereign: the same Tessa stack, self-hosted with Docker or Kubernetes, with unlimited seats and projects, enterprise single sign-on, and a cloud device fleet on request. Tessa Sovereign is agreed individually and governed by its own service terms.
