Explaining a testing tool takes a while. Showing it takes 24 seconds. We made a short film about Tessa, our testing companion, that follows one test from the first sentence to the failure report.
A 24-second film without narration. A scenario, “Edit transfer amount before approval”, is drafted in four plain-language steps and accepted. Tessa runs it on an Android phone in MyBänkli, our demo banking app, and the fourth step fails. The report shows the expected and the observed behaviour next to the captured screen.

- Run. Tessa runs the scenario on an Android phone in MyBänkli, our demo banking app. Three steps pass. Then Tessa taps “Edit amount”.
- Prove. The form reopens empty. Step 4 fails, and the report shows the expected and the observed behaviour next to the screen Tessa captured.
The bug is staged: we built MyBänkli to have something to break. The film itself is an animation in the look of the Tessa page, not a screen recording. If you want to click through the same flow in the product interface, the interactive tour on the Tessa page is the place.
How we made it
The film is HTML and GSAP, rendered frame by frame with Hyperframes. Its source sits next to our brand kit, and the German version takes every line from the same translation files as this website. When the product or the copy changes, we render it again.
